Member Business Hub

A secure, practical digital home where BACC members connect, access value, manage their membership, and remain engaged with the Chamber.

The strategic value

More than a login page.

The Hub turns membership into an ongoing experience. It gives members practical reasons to return while giving the Chamber a simpler way to serve, manage, and understand its community.

01

Stronger member value

Members can discover trusted businesses, share opportunities, access private resources, and see benefits in one organized place.

02

Better retention

A useful year-round portal makes membership feel active and visible rather than limited to occasional events or emails.

03

Operational control

The Chamber team can approve access, manage records, publish content, track billing, and produce reports without depending on a developer for routine work.

Inside the member experience

One clear place for membership.

Profile fieldsMember-managed information

Company, industry, telephone, website, location, services, and business description.

Administrative control

Desiree and Michael can manage it.

Authorized Chamber administrators receive full day-to-day control. Routine member management, content, billing, and reporting do not require Fabian or a developer.

Members & approvals

Approve, activate, suspend, or expire access, update member records, and send login invitations.

  • Bulk actions for multiple members
  • Search and filter by status
  • Controlled access for administrators

Content management

Publish and update opportunities, events, resources, and benefits from the existing WordPress administration area.

  • Review member submissions
  • Keep information current
  • Control what members can see

Billing management

Create invoices, attach secure checkout links, record payment status, and make receipts available to members.

  • Paid, pending, unpaid, waived, or refunded
  • Printable invoices and receipts
  • No card details stored by BACC

Reporting center

Filter, print, or export member and billing reports whenever the Chamber needs them.

  • Member roster reports
  • Billing activity reports
  • Print and CSV export
Designed for scale

Hundreds of members do not have to be entered one by one.

The Chamber can upload one completed CSV spreadsheet. Existing members are updated by email, new accounts are created, and the team reviews everything before sending invitations.

STEP 1

Download template

Use the prepared spreadsheet columns for member details.

STEP 2

Add the roster

Enter or paste the Chamber's existing member information.

STEP 3

Upload once

Create or update hundreds of accounts in one controlled import.

STEP 4

Review & invite

Approve accounts and send login invitations in bulk when ready.

Important safeguard: importing members does not automatically email them. Desiree and Michael can review the accounts first, then decide when invitations should be sent.
Payments & billing

Square-ready, with a clean separation of responsibility.

The portal manages invoices, status, and member-facing records. Square will handle the secure checkout itself, so BACC does not store members' card or banking information.

1

BACC issues the invoice

The administrator assigns the member, amount, due date, status, and reference.

2

Square collects payment

The member follows BACC's secure hosted Square checkout link.

3

The record stays visible

The Chamber updates the status and the member can view or print the invoice or receipt.

Before launch: replace the demonstration Square button with BACC's live Square checkout link and confirm the billing contact email.
Feedback requested

Four decisions before launch.

The foundation is in place. These choices allow the portal to be configured around the Chamber's operating process.

1. Administrator access

Confirm that Desiree and Michael should both receive full portal management and reporting access.

2. Member information

Confirm which existing member spreadsheet will be used for the first bulk import.

3. Square connection

Provide the live Square payment link and the email address members should use for billing support.

4. Launch sequence

Approve the invitation message, select the first member group, and choose the launch date.
